During its 120 years of life the Club has only had 6 professionals. The first, Harry Hunter acted as everything - green keeper, course designer, caddy master, from 1892 to 1939 - an incredible 47 years only ended by the war. Following peace in 1945 came a spell of 4 in 33 years.
